Traditional blacksmith craft: Made in Solingen, Germany. Güde knives are forged, sharpened, finished, tested, and packed in up to 55 manual steps at the factory. Güde values individuality - especially in the development and optimisation of the knife series. This is reflected in every single blade that leaves the manufactory, in the selection of particularly beautiful and tactile handle materials and a unique ergonomic design that fluently enables and celebrates fast, precise work.

• UNIQUE. The Universal Knife is a beautiful table knife for everyday use. Made of unique material; features an ergonomically designed handle made of white and blue Hostaform, a tough and resilient acetal resin that provides a comfortable grip and is easy to clean
• CRAFTED. It all starts in the drop forge: slit pieces are cut from an 8 meter long bar steel (chrome, vanadium, molybdenum knife steel). They are heated up to around 1050 °C and forged in the die with 3 to 4 hammer blows. Finally, the blade blank is stamped out of the forging.
