1.25” moon and skylow is a multi-band pass filter transmitting a high percentage of light in the visual spectrum; the filter enhances contrast when observing brighter objects including the moon and planets. Suppresses skyglow from artificial lighting and background glow reflected from moonrise. Mild effect of darkening background of the night sky: So that the fainter objects is more clearly seen contrasted against the blackness of space. Effectively filters out stray light: Filtering Selective wavelengths of low-pressure sodium and other man-made sources typically used in street lighting. SV231 color correction filter is used to correct chromatic aberration and color unevenness. It improves the color quality and contrast of the picture by eliminating chromatic aberration and enhancing color saturation. The SV231 filter is designed with AR anti-reflection coating, ensuring image quality and brightness. High transmittance means high level of transparency, allows a significant amount of light or energy to transmit through it. The SV231 color correction filter can work effectively when the wavelength is between 300-1200 NM. It can effectively blocking light damage and eliminating blue and purple streaks. Excellent optical performance and color expression add color to your deep sky photography.

  • Correct chromatic aberration; SV231 telescope filter prevents unwanted color banding in the blue spectral range; minimizes blue wavelengths in out-of-focus areas
  • OD>4; the higher the filter cut-off depth; the smaller the noise and the higher the imaging contrast
  • Full thread design; M28.5×0.6 specification; male thread; strong and durable; supports different types of filters for superimposed use
  • 1.25" moon and skyglow filter is a multi band pass filter transmitting a high percentage of light in the visual spectrum;the filter enhances contrast when observing brighter objects including the moon and planets
  • Telescope eyepiece cutting light pollution;the filter has a mild effect of darkening the background of the night sky so that the fainter objects are more clearly seen contrasted against the blackness of space
