Vitamin B1 (thiamine) is included in the treatment of patella attachment under veterinary prescription. Studies have also shown that thiamine overdose provides a clear calming effect in horses with severe nervous disorders. The use of thiamine is soluble in water and cannot be overdosed. Doses of 15 ml/day (10 g) to a large horse (550 kg) in feed, yields approximately 7 times the rda. On the ball joint according to veterinary prescription.
